Teresa Delgado, Founder & CEO
For over three decades, I've been building businesses, but FLUID is the venture that brings my Entrepreneurial spirit and deep-seated values into perfect alignment.
The spark came from getting my hands dirty - literally. Through hands-on work, I've help divert over 4 tons of textile waste from landfills. I saw two things clearly: the staggering volume of the problem and the complete lack of practical, on-site solutions for manufacturers.
When California passed the groundbreaking SB 707 law, it created both a mandate and an opportunity. I founded FLUID to provide that missing link. We aim to equip businesses with the technology to turn a looming regulatory liability - textile waste - into a managed asset and a new revenue stream.
Our recognition as a 2025 WPWMA Circular Economy Innovation Award winner and our work with community partners like Covenant House Oakland are testaments to our model's potential. I'm driven by a simple belief: the future of the business is circular, profitable, and community centered. FLUID is building that future, one shredder at a time.

♻ Circular Impact

🏆 Western Placer Waste Management Authority Circular Economy Innovation Award 2025 for our recycling efforts, transforming textile waste into innovative products for pets, including beds and toys.

🧵I conduct sewing skills workshops for the residents at Covenant House. ♻️ Through these workshops I focus on creativity and sustainability by using recycled fabric. Residents learn valuable sewing techniques while creating unique projects. It's a way to empower individuals through the art of sewing!
